The deal is at AutoZone, but is not available online.2007GTS wrote:Slime Power Sport Tire Inflator for $9.95, it is $29.95 with a $20.00 mail in rebate. It is Motorcycle Consumer News pick. This is a hell of a deal and I just got mine tonight and thought I would share. You could pretty much keep this thing just about anywhere and have it in case of an emergency.

I just snagged one and am waiting for my tires to cool before trying it out, but I'm already excited about the "find." It's small and includes a carrying case. The 300psi compressor will quickly top off scooter tires and will even fill one from flat in minutes. It's got an 18" air hose with a locking nozzle. It includes a number of power connections, including 12V adapter for you folks with '07 Buddys, alligator clips to attach to the battery, cables to hardwire to the battery, and an 8' cable with a fuse. And, best of all, the connectors for the cables all fit with a Battery Tender's!
[ EDIT: The connectors all fit with the Battery Tender, but don't work with those cables. So, you have the same connection option as the Tender (hardwire, alligator clips) as well as the 12v outlet option. ]
The only thing I don't like about it so far (having not used it yet): no built-in pressure gauge. It does come with a little, old-fashioned analog stick gauge, but that's kind of an afterthought. I imagine anyone who would buy one of these already checks their pressure.
EDITED TO ADD: Just used it to top off tire pressure. Works as advertised—fast and easy, even on the often problematic rear wheel. Still missed having a built-in gauge, but for $10, it's great!
