I apologize if this was already posted and I missed it.
Nice looking scoot. I wonder why they aren't offering it for the 170?

That's because they didn't make a 170 ten years ago.

Pretty color - looks good with the black (seems to have caught on).

Looks like they're using new rims too.

Personally I think it'll look great with a black out kit -

I'm missing something. How is this "vintage inspired" when it has the same body, mirrors etc as the scoots they've always made?
Is it just the pearl blue color that's vintage?

Agreed. IDK. Maybe Vespa had that color on a scoot 40 years ago. White wall tires. Yes. Not sure about the wheels. I wonder if the low seat was added to get rid of excess inventory.
Genuine is consistent with their marketing though. Change colors and whatever extra part they might have around and you have a special addition.

"Vintage inspired" doesn't mean 'vintage'.
I imagine it's the whitewalls.

The headlight is the wrong size for a "vintage" Buddy!

It is "vintage inspired". The small one on the '06 Buddy 125 inspired them to make it bigger.
I actually like this bike, and it sounds like a bargain with it's upgraded components.

I like it too!
What I don't get is why the Lil International Buddy 50s are $200 more MSRP, but these special editions that they roll out (Riot, Anniversary edition) that are suited up with some pretty great performance upgrades are the same MSRP as the normal Buddys. Just musing!

I believe those rims are standard on the Buddy 50s.

I always liked the way the 06 headlight looked , but the "new" ones do work better.
I can't wait to see this color in person.

I can remember all the discussion regarding the 06 headlights (was that really 10 years ago?) and it was enough for Genuine to make a change. Maybe it's just me but I never thought the 06 headlight was that bad. I'm still running the original bulb.
Then again I do ride some 6 volt vintage so......
It is a slick looking scooter. I would slap a kit on it and rock it any day of the week!
