Honda Metropolitan Tail Light Problem
I have a 2007 Metropolitan, lately the tail light keep blowing bulbs. I have been using Phillips 1154 bulbs (12v) with bulb grease. Some one suggested using an 1157 red LED. Is this my best option? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My hunch is a loose ground wire. When you pop the bulb in and twist it to pock it, does the bulb sit firmly in the socket, or does it have a little play (e.g. moves in and out or side to side with minimal pressure)? If the bulb is snug, have you checked the contacts in the socket to see if they are free of corrosion. If that's all good, you may need to pop off the bodywork and check the plug where the taillamp connects to the main harness.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Got a voltage meter? You may be getting power spikes if your voltage regulator needs replacement. Not sure how many fuses are on a Met but it's possible that it's enough to fry a bulb but not a fuse.
A bad ground seems more likely, though, or a bad relay or switch.
Electrical issues are the worst.
