Hey everyone,
Just bought a Matte Black Hooligan last week and after a few days of practice I took it out for my work commute today. Thank you to all of you who post here. I feel I made a smarter purchase after looking through this site and reading the reviews and general posts. Happy to be a part of the Genuine family. Let me know if any of you are in central east coast of Florida area. Cheers!

I love the idea of Hooligan ownership!
Would you share some of your overall impressions of the scoot with us?

So I've been riding the Hooligan for a couple weeks now. I've only made the short commute to my work and back which is about 5 min away. But I'm doing it five days a week. So far it feels like a great ride. I don't have any other scooter experience so I can't really compare it to anything .
I am comfortable on it which is the big reason I went with this over the 170 Buddy. I'm 6'2" and mostly legs so I need something roomy (picture Jack Skellington riding a scooter and that's pretty much what people are seeing).
It feels peppy enough to easily keep up with traffic on my 45 mph road to work. I think I've even surprised a few cars off the line. The brakes work great from my limited experience. It probably handles better than I know but like I said, I don't have much experience yet. I did take a MSF course a few years ago and I'm now reading Proficient Motorcycling so hopefully I'll get better and more confident quickly.
I've seen a few people mention the rpms run high on this scooter and it seems that way to me too. I'll be taking it in for the first oil change in the next few weeks at my local dealer so I'll ask about that then.
Anyways, I'm happy to be riding. Don't think I could have found a better first scooter. Doesn't hurt that it looks like what Batman would ride if he rode a scoot.
