Attempted Scooter Theft

Well it finally happened, someone tried to steal my scooter while I was sleeping. Do any of you guys know what they were trying to do? I can't seem to figure it out. It was chained to a tree, so I am not exactly sure why they would break the horn cast first and start screwing with the wires. It also is in the back yard which is fenced in so they must have been planning it for a while so I don't see the logic.

Looks like someone was trying to hot wire it but ended up an epic fail. At least they didn't get ur scoot. Obviously they don't know how to break the steering lock as that would've cost more money to fix....Sorry this happened....

Stupid kids I bet. Someone from the 'hood that kinda knows your schedule. Strange as they normally roll it away BEFORE hot wiring it, hence the stupid kids. Does the lock that held it to the tree have any attack marks? Time for a motion sensor light and maybe a Xena alarm on the scoot. Sucks that life has come to this-locking everything/all the time. At least they didnt get it and matte black paint it for you, like what happened when my Zuma got stolen many moons ago.

Second the Xena alarm rec; 110 db of LEAVE ME ALONE.
Use it every time you park, it becomes second nature.

Some of the Xenas won't fit on Stellas because the disk brake is farther in the wheel than on Buddys and RoughHouses. Double check before you drop $90 on one!
