How much does a new engine cost for the 170i?

Just wondering in case I need to replace it many years from now.

You can't buy an entire engine. A top end rebuild is in the $600-700 range if you get a shop to do it. Most likely if you get to the point of wearing the engine out it'll be time for a new one anyway.
