the grocery bag hook in front of the footboard is not designed well. bags fall out too easily. does anyone have a hack? i am thinking of replacing the hook with some kind of caribeaner
I'd like to see what you come up with. However with nearly 25,000 miles on my Buddy I've not had too many problems, I'd just loop the bag handle over the hook an extra time.

Hook has never failed in 60,000 combined miles of three riders and we use it often - as long as the bag hangs free of the floorboard. Typical Kroger/Walmart plastic bags are fine yet some/most of the paper or cloth bags are way too long and have to be modified to work well on the Buddy.
i'm going to remove the hook, and then try to find a thin piece of metal with 2 holes in it that i can put the hook's screw through to attach the piece of metal. then i will attach a small caribeaner to the other hole in the metal.
