Recently stopped creating a spark, so I replaced the spark plug (no luck), coil (no luck) and CDI (started right up). Drove it back home in the borrowed pickup truck and went out on my first ride. Upon starting everything sounded normal. When I began to accelerate the tone of the engine was deeper and somehow emptier than before. And when I reached around 20mph there was resistance to accelerate any faster. I continued for 2 blocks before it stuttered to a stop and I had to walk it home because it wouldn't start. Give it a few hours and the engine starts back up again but with the same problem, stutters and shuts off after a couple minutes of riding. I loosened the gas tank cover to make sure I hadn't created a vacuum in the tank with no difference. I also changed the old fuel line filter with no difference in performance. Any thoughts?
Cheers!
