Any mods still around? Need help with locked seat

So I posted in the old "I'm a dummy - locked my keys in the pet carrier" thread and I messaged and emailed both ericalm and jrsjr yesterday to no avail. My scooter has been sitting in the parking lot of a grocery store since Sunday at around 4pm. I have no spare keys; my house keys, bike lock keys and scooter keys are all stuck inside my pet carrier. I don't own a car and had to walk to work this morning and fortunately was able to get a ride home with a co-worker. According to past threads, there is a secret method of getting one's scooter seat open on a Buddy, but no one who knows this method appears to be active anymore on MB. Can anyone help? I really don't want to have to damage the seat and pay for repairs if there is a simple solution to this problem. I tried unscrewing the bolt on the front hinge, but it's screwed so tightly that I broke the screwdriver just trying to unscrew it, so that's not an option. Please pm me if you know the secret method.
