Anyone own a Buddy Kick? Or has anyone ridden one?

I haven't seen one at my local dealer but I'm hoping they'll have it in March.

I just responded to your post on MV as well.
I saw this bike last week in Portland. I was impressed by the alloy wheels and dual disk brakes. I didn't know it was a four-valve engine. Maybe that makes it "modern".
It is built by the same company that makes the Buddy, which is a very good quality product.

Just put some miles on mine today!! Any specific questions? It's the only scooter I've ridden, so I can't exactly give great comparisons, but the brakes are smooth, it'll zoot around in traffic pretty well. Unless you smash into a pothole pretty hard, it rides pretty smoothly. Enough room to ride 2up in a pinch, though my girlfriend thinks the footpegs are too high up (knees in face syndrome )
Mileage has been 65+ (entirely within the city limits of Philadelphia), hit the high 80's on the third tank.

I didn't get to run it through a true test, but the local shop let me play with one last weekend.

The suspension is really nice. This thing had 3 miles on it, but after some breaking in, it should have a little more oomph than the buddy engine. It's still air cooled, but it's also fuel injected. Brakes will need a little more love with dual discs, but it's not a huge expense.

Much like the buddy, it's not going to be comfy for long-legged riders, but I have a 30" inseam. I liked the seat too.
