Scoot Richmond Visit...

Post by giddyup98 »

I went to visit my sons this past weekend in Richmond, VA, so I decided to stop by Scoot Richmond in downtown Richmond on Saturday. I couldn't believe how many people were there interested in buying or getting their scooter serviced. I've never been to a motorcycle/scooter shop that was so packed with customers. As I drove around Cary Town in Richmond, I saw lots of folks on scooters, so I guess that explains their popularity. It was a very impressive operation to say the least.

My friend and I were there on Sat. We looked like 2 junkies nodding out on the white chairs in the Triumph section. Both of us were tired and bummed because we came up empty handed from our thrift store searches, and we ate at Sub Station-HUGE subs and gyros! I get to go back and pick up the Buddy at a later date.

Did you happen to see the all decked out, previously owned, white Buddy 125? It was beautiful and the asking price was under $1,900. I thought it was very reasonable for a low mileage, fully accessorized Buddy 125, especially at a dealer.

Yup. My friend has my old black Buddy with a zillion miles on it and was looking that white one over. Also checking out the Royal Enfield motorcycle. I purchased my powder blue Buddy from them, used with low miles. Also bought my first Buddy from there. The black high miles one I sold my friend. That was brand new. May look into a MP3 500 next.

I've been to that shop. Their selection and range of two wheels is impressive. It's a college town, and the location is perfect.

They host a scooter rally in the fall called Indian Summer.

Hehe yep, that's our shop! It just keeps growing, we're super proud of them. And yeah, hit Richmond up for either of our rallies! 'Our' meaning 7 Hills Scooter Club, that is :)
We also do group rides every first Sunday of the month.
