I know we're supposed to be tolerant and nonjudgmental when it comes to two-wheelers, but really?

I saw that too. Looking at the price, I doubt we will see many of those around!

These types of electric scooters have been on the market for a while. That one is way over priced. Check Amazon for "citycoco". Here's a review of one for $1,600:

I wouldn't mind getting one if my house wasn't so full of cra...stuff.

I have one of these, but I ride it with the seat removed so that I don't look like a little old man.
Tops out at a little over 20mph and has about an 20-25 mile range with lithium batteries. The tires are 10" diameter. I can jump up and down curbs with this, though I probably shouldn't be doing that at my age...hehe.

They're a lot of fun and can get you around to places where cars are not allowed or there's no parking. Especially useful during special events here in the city when parking is an issue.

Sorry for all the posts, but this triggered my interest in a favorite subject, electric scooters/transportation.

Remember the Honda Moto Compo from the '80s? Well, here's their take on an updated version that's electric.

You can add a 48v 500w motor kit to your bicycle for under 1200 bucks, with lithium batteries. Hmmm.

It's cute, but I would love to see them make more use of that negative space for batteries.

I'd ride a rectangle if it took me a couple hundred miles on a charge.

Your rectangle awaits. Range is still small, but it can carry additional batteries.

I think they should do a co-branding deal with Lego. That would look great in the next Lego movie...

Now watch, they'll do exactly what I said and it will be a global smash hit.
