As the title says. What is the best hitch mounted scooter Carrier? I have a Roughhouse Sport. Thank you.

A friend bought one from Harbor Freight with the 20% off coupon for hauling his 60's Vespa on the back of his Kia Sedona minivan. He said it was worth every penny.

Do you have a type 2 or 3 hitch on your truck/SUV?

Versahaul. Not cheap but the best quality carrier on the market. I use mine all the time for my Buddies, Kymco Likes and my Vespa LX 150.

I agree, Versahaul is the quality choice. Whether this really makes sense, however, is a function of the vehicle you have in mind. A hitch mounted carrier puts quite a bit of weight at an awkward point on a vehicle well behind the rear wheels. It is easy to overload the suspension of a lighter vehicle.

I second the one from Harbor freight. We have used it on the front of our class C RV for about three years now and I've never had a problem with it. Now that we have two scooters, I used the 25% off discount coupon and bought another one to put on the rear of the camper. You can't go wrong for 100 bucks. Not 10 minutes ago I unloaded the wife's scooter. It takes me about five minutes to load and about three minutes to unload.
