Am I nuts, or are my hi-beam and low-beam switched up?

This is me being dumb but I'd rather be sure rather than create a hazard.

I think that the hi-beam and low-beam functions are switched on my buddy. When the switch is on low-beam, I get the full circle of the headlight projected at a higher angle than when the hi-beam is switched on, which projects a halfmoon sort of shape that doesn't go nearly as far and seems to be just focused on the road right in front of me.

Is this normal or am I just being paranoid?

Or your bulb is tilted up so the low beam shoots high and your high beam is being halfway blocked by the fixture?

I'd first adjust it for the low beam to be aligned then reassess.

I don't see how it's be possible to reverse them.
