So my Buddy has been parked since early December. It has been a brutal winter here with rarely going more than a day without snow. Well although it did snow on Thursday (quite a bit actually) it was so warm and sunny all day friday that the streets were totally clear. Combine that with the fact that I got out of practice early enough for it to still be light out, and I just couldnt resist goin for a spin.
So I grabbed the battery from the float charger, stuck iti n and fired her up. First try no problem! Let it warm up for about 5 minutes and off I went. Went for about a 20 mile cruise. Myneck got a bit nippy once the sun was down, but aside from that it was pure joy. Cant wait for the weather to turn for good!
Boy did that feel good!

That is a good feeling to get out on the scoot after a long layoff isn't it? I've been able to get out almost every weekend. There were a few where we got snow on the weekends, though. Now that it is staying lighter out longer, I'm going to try to get into commuting mode in the next week - hopefully Friday.
