Just got back from a nice 20 mile ride.. after just about 300 miles on my cylinder kit, I feel like it has finally loosened up as I hit 55 briefly on a slight decline! Woohoo for a slight taste of Springtime scootin'!
The downside, temps are predicted to drop down to 32 by 3am with a 100% chance of snow. Looks like it's the bus tomorrow if a snow day isn't called. Crazy weather we got here.

It's always a nice surprise to hit the 60's in February. It's a bit of a harbinger of what's to come. We'll still see plenty more cold and snow, but we'll also be seeing more of these warmer days and fewer of the really cold ones. It's past 10pm and still 40 degrees in downtown!

Of course, we will see 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow and the high temp tomorrow will be about 40 degrees colder than today. That's the Rockies for you! But this snow will melt quickly and I'm predicting we'll be riding again over the weekend.

Got 4" of snow today, dropping down to -10 tonight and calling for 8-12" of snow for Sunday-Monday.

I did see some guy driving a metropolitan down the road today! There was no bare slot on the roadway from car tires either. I could see his tires were kicking up snow. Wish I would have had my camera with me.
