Im sorry for crowing the forum with another one of these. I hope my issue is something very simple. i posted a video of my scooter instead of trying to describe it.

https://youtu.be/OAhnmbQa4Eg

i am not very mechanically inclined. i try my best. the scooter is an 09' 125cc buddy. has over 10k miles.

i got my scooter serviced, cleaned out carb. new battery and did changed the oil out myself. it started to shut off on me when i stopped moving, wouldn't stay in idle. i left it alone and said i will mess with it when i have time. it has been over 6 months and i have moved states.

recently, i have charged my old battery, bought a new battery. took apart the carb, cleaned out my gas line tubes. tested my auto petcock and changed the gas out.
i dont know if this would be a spark plug issue?
any ideas that i can try.. than you very much for any help.

Sounds like your idle speed and/or low speed mixture screw needs adjustment.

I have screwed that in and out. It doesnt allow the scooter to turn on.
I was assuming thata my issue for the scooter not staying in idle once it turns on but now it just wont turn over and start the engine.

Could be the stator. Check to make sure you are getting a good spark.

Stator, coil or CDI. My guess is bad spark.
