WKRP Rally
I posted this already in the 2008 Plans thread, but thought maybe I should put it out front.
The 2008 WKRP rally in Cincinnati is March 28-30, you can sign up here:
http://wkrp.tenyearlates.com
There will be multiple group rides, food and drink, and they're raffling off a 2007 Buddy SI (the 125 model). http://tenyearlates.com/wkrp/2008/raffle.html
I expect there will be lots of Buddys there, as Metro Scooter has sold a gazillion of them, and probably some happy new Stella owners as well. Any scooter is welcome though, old or new.

I'll be there. Look for the 2strokebuzz Blur and say hi!
(If I bring a scooter, the last couple years I got stuck at my parents house for most of the rally until saturday night)

Diane and I will be there, though it's unknown at this time if we'll be bringing any modern bikes along.
Something tells me you won't miss either of us for lack of Buddy(s) or not though

Anybody willing to open their home to me for the weekend (definately Saturday night...maybe Friday night)? There would be a bottle of wine in it for you.
I'm coming in from out of town and am currently low on funds. I have family in Dayton, but would like to stay closer to the rally if possible.

Re: WKRP Rally
Oh yeah guys I almost forgot- I'm winning that Buddy on the 29th but I can't be at the rally. Anyone willing to get it down here to me gets a free week long beach vacation.lobsterman wrote: and they're raffling off a 2007 Buddy SI (the 125 model). http://tenyearlates.com/wkrp/2008/raffle.html

Let's rock
Me and Lagerhead did dry runs with the XYL Club to check out the Rally Route and it should really be fun. Last week while at Turfway (horse race park) a horse named Todd's Buddy was getting ready to race. Of course, we had to put some money down quick and received a whopping $7 when the horse won third place. Good omen, My Friends!

If you're looking for more stuff to do while you're in Cincinnati, here are two suggestions:
http://2strokebuzz.com/index.php?p=4012
The Demolition Derby is rad, but it's Saturday night and out in Hamilton, so it might not be practical for some people. Last year it ended with plenty of time to make it to the Comet for the raffle and festivities.
The soccer game's just my brother's rec league team, but they're sponsored by 2strokebuzz and we'll probably sneak some hooch out there and have a good time watching them lose, plus it's on the way out of town if you're heading north or northwest.
Hope to meet some of you there, introduce yourselves, I'm shy!
We look like this:

only with a Gold Star Chili behind us instead of l'Arc de Triomphe behind us.
