Really get to use my scooter now...

Well I bought my scooter two months ago on the premise that it would be fun and it would save me gas money because i could ride to work. Well the first part is true, but the second thing just hasn't worked out until now.
My girlfriend haas decided to move back home. This is a sore topic and one I won't get in to.
I went looking for apartments yesterday. They were all dirty and unsafe for my price range.
On the way back to our current place we decided to look at brand new apartments that are 1/2 mike from where I work. Thinking I couldn't afford them i wasn't hopeful.. Well boy was i wrong. When I factor in gas savings I will be able to more then afford them. It is awesome how this worked out and now I can ride the scooter everyday.
Best of all I was able to get a storage unit for $20 a month and that will be the scooter's home. No worry of theft.
I am so excited. The apartment is in one of those new walking communities where everything (shopping, food, entertainment) is super close.
I am looking to sell my car and save even more.
