there are a couple of threads going on right now about new tires, just wondering how many miles you had on the tires before you replaced them. obviously a nail or something could shorten the life of your tire and it sounds like there is consensus that the tubed white walls don't last as long.

I was right at 4000 when my back tire was past needing to be replaced.

I probably should have done it at 3600 or so, but i waited for my 4k service.

I ride pretty hard and i'm over 200 pounds. I'm pretty sure those are why mine needing replacing so soon. The front tire looked almost brand new.

I changed both, however since I decided to got with the new Maxxis tubeless whitewalls.

I have 3720 BU (buddy units) and my rear tire looks like it can last another 2k BU.

Front looks like it might last 10k.
