Buddy Sound System?

I didn't notice if this was already answered in any previous posts, but:

I was planning on rigging some sort of stereo system on my buddy and I was wondering if anyone had already done this on their's? All I wanna do is hook up some boat speakers to my MP3 player & thats it. It should be pretty simple, just seeing if anyone had some experience/advice for me?
