I saw a black 125 parked near Juanitas Taco Shop in Encinitas today. It had two helmets dangling on the bars. This is the first buddy I've seen serving, or waiting to serve its humans.

Along Hwy 101 from Lajolla to oceanside (over a month and a half period) I've seen:

One green People 150? (Male driver Seen on a couple of occasions)
One green People 150? (Female driver Seen Once)
One Red Vespa GTS 250 (Male driver Seen twice)
One Chinese? (Male driver Seen twice)
One zuma (Male driver seen once)
One Vespa ? red (Female driver once)
I'm sure there were a handful of others that just aren't registering now.

I did see one Ural Patrol (sidecar setup).

I mustn't forget the CHP who tickets people for making right turns during prohibited times. Man he lines those poor slobs up. Keeps him busy. Nice BMW. I'd love to see how he runs with his riding gear on...

Motorcycles: Way to much to be of notice
Cyclist with surfboard carriers: at least two
Other cyclist: Way to much to be of notice

Well thats it for my two wheel watching. Maybe someday I'll get spotted too... especially if I'm riding. Now that would be great.

Travis,

A 1973 Raleigh 10 spd with a new rear carry rack. Sweeeet.

I don't know how long I'll be riding here though... looks like I'll be heading to North Carolina for a month and a half for some training. Then, who knows, wherever I can find the work I suppose. Thats the main reason I have held back from getting the buddy. I miss ridiing.
