Question about changing gear oil

I have a Buddy 50 that's almost a year old. When I'm at top speed I can feel this little bit of reverb/grinding in the engine, which has me thinking I might need to replace the gear oil (I'm at about 900 miles...it was done at 300 miles by the dealer). Am I right here? Is there a way to tell when it needs replacing? Many thanks for your help!

Well, since you're still under warranty why not just take it to the dealer?

i change gearbox oil every 2-3 thou miles. & thats plenty.
wrench out filler screw (1 minute)
wrench out drain screw .. old oil comes out (1 minute)
wait till draining's done (5 minutes)
put drain screw back in (1 minute)
pour in correct amount of fresh gear oil (1 minute)
close up filler hole. (1 minute)
open 2bottles of beer. (4 seconds)
call me over :D
