No ignition on Genuine Buddy 125
I have 2 Buddy 125s that started with no problem. After removing their seats and bodies, pressing the ignition button now does nothing on either scooter. The horns, fuel gauges, and blinkers still work. Any ideas why there is no ignition? Is there an interlock somewhere?

Check the run switch on the right side of the handlebar.

Thanks for replying. The run switch is set to run (on).

When you squeeze a brake lever, does the brake light on the rear turn on?

If I re-connect the tail light, yes, the brake light works. Everything has power except the ignition. The system behaves as if the run switch is turned off, but it's turned on.

There is no interlock... only that the run switch has to be in run, and one or both of the brake lever switches have to close. Does the scooter start using the kick starter?

I was in "test mode" and forgot to apply a brake. Problem solved. Thank you.
