Buddy 125 Front Brake fluid

Post by Snap50 »

There is no mention of changing or maintenance of the brake fluid for the front brake in our owners manual for our 125 Buddy.
Generally brake fluid requires regular replacement. Any references to the Buddy available?

If your scooter is over 4 years old, you should flush and bleed the front brakes. It uses a shot glass of fluid, so buy the smallest container possible. The Buddy calls for DOT 3. I've used the dinky jug from Dollar Tree before. Buy a 2' piece of clear vinyl 1/4" hose from ACE hardware. It's easy to do yourself with no special contraptions.
