I’m back!

Post by ScooterTrash »

Looks like things have slowed down in here but I’m back! Picked up a “mechanics special” for $300 bones and had it running in 15 minutes. Plan was to flip it but I forgot how fun these are. Also my wife misses her Buddy too and she might ride it!

Good looking scooter you have there. The accessories must have cost the previous owner almost as you paid for the whole bike. They Buddy 125 sure has a huge fun factor. I was without a Buddy for 5 years myself. I know what you mean.

I aspire to find some kind of sub-$500 scooter bargain like that someday, profoundly dead on arrival, sold by a particular type of uncaring cad with zero mechanical proclivities and a short attention span but a large garage uninhabited by rodentia, that I whip into shape in one carefree afternoon using my wits, bare hands, and maybe an ultrasonic carb cleaner.

I've bought my scoots used and cheap, but not THAT cheap.
