From the Kick 125 to regular Buddy 125

Post by Scootergoddess »

Well, it’s official… after two years with my 2022, Buddy Kick 125, I am trading it in for a 2024 regular buddy 125. My kick has had lots of issues… Has been in the shop four times, had warranty work done twice, and now the shop can’t even figure out what’s wrong with it, and the warranty expires in a week. All of the problems have had to do with the electrical system, computer, and battery. It has left me stranded several times. Without a kickstart, I was stuck. I I still think it is an amazing bike in many ways, but this particular bike has had nothing but problems. Maybe I got a bad one? Anyway, I am so thankful to Capital City Scooters for making me a super sweet deal to buy back my buddy kick 125 and get me a regular buddy 125 and its place. hopefully this next bike will be issue free!

Dollar for dollar it's hard to beat the Buddy 125. Reliable, simple, great power to weight and loaded with options; sidestand, hazard flashers, cup cubby. One of my favorite scooters of all time.

My 2023 Buddy 125 has been bulletproof and I'm currently at 10,500 miles. I wanted as simple as possible on my commuter and the Buddy 125 fits that requirement perfectly. Welcome back to Buddy land! Post some pictures!

We moved and it is just too far for me to use her to commute to work anymore… I hate to sell her, but I won’t be riding her enough to make it practical to keep her. Clear title, comes with Prima windscreen and two Cheeky seats Custom seat covers. Located in Lexington, Kentucky. Happy to provide more pictures on request. Professionally serviced at 500 miles by local genuine dealer. $2700 cash.

We have an '07 Buddy 125 which is my SO's ride. It has been a model of reliability. Evidently you can't do much better - especially for the money. In fairness, I am also 4 years into a Buddy Kick, which has never given me any trouble of any kind.
