Buddy Tire Recommendation

Post by fijiman »

Anyone tried Kenda K6022 Kozmik on their Buddy? I have a 2009 Buddy 125 and thinking about picking up a set 3.50 -10 for both front/rear?
Just trying to replace the aging and freckled tires.

I've head a lot of folks putting 130/70 on the rear, but some brands rub while others do not? Which ones do not and are they available? Lot of 130/70 tires I looked at is out of stock.

Appreciate the feedback!

A friend in Phoenix is running Kozmiks on his '08 St. Tropez. It's a fine tire for cruising, but it's not recommended for spirited riding on twisty roads.

I'm running Pirelli Angels (100/90-10) on my Pamplona and CST C-6017 whitewalls (90/90-10) on my St. Tropez. Amusingly, the whitewalls have a sport tread and have a "P" speed rating.

Michelin now offers a Pilot Street 2 in 100/90-10. I may try those on a scoot soon; I wish I'd seen those when I was putting tires on the Pamplona.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

Pirelli Angels in either 3.50x10 or 100/90-10, buy the one that is cheaper. My favorite tire so far and the price isn't too bad.

I was not a fan of the 130/70-10. I tried two different tires and wasn't really impressed.
