Easter Sunday Ride
Couldn't take it anymore so I bundled up and got "Scratch" out (My name for my new scooter that I scratched when I went down on gravel) and went for a ride. It was a brisk 36 degrees with a 15 mph wind and overcast. First it rained on me, then it sleeted and finally snowed. The cagers looked at me like I was nuts but I am not, just mildly eccentric
. I took the hint that Mama Nature did not want me riding today and went home to defrost. The ground was completely covered covered with snow shortly after I got home. A brisk, brief and exhilarating ride.

My ride today was nice, windy too like your day, but nice and sunny
Then it started snowing after I came home, passed several police who stared at me, but didnt get stopped
I follow the speed, all traffic rules, they leave me alone
I always take a spin in my neighborhood to warm up the bike before going at 30-35mph out on the public roads and neighborhood kids and teens always turn their heads to see what I am riding, a small toddler the other day waved at me, and a school girl shouted "I LOVE YOU" at me when I passed her :\
I laughed about that, but I wonder if she said it as a insult to my scooter, or as a "I love your scooter" saying....:\ next time she does something crazy, I should stop by and question the girl
"make fun of my scooter, and you meet my gloves!" (My gloves have thick kevlar pads in them, so getting hit by them would hurt...not that i'd hit a girl, I'd never do that
)
