monowheels are a bit of a passion for a guy who does a great blog called The New Cafe Racer Society. He's posted many articles about such concepts and related artwork. Google the title. I think it's a blogspot blog.

Where? One ot top of another?
lol.
i would have a tough time believing that would be safe on a road though, it would be near impossible for cars to see you when you're so low to the ground and hunched over.
While it would (literally!) turn on a dime in a parking lot, I doubt it could be very stable in long fast sweepers. Not without requiring some special new (and expensive?) stabilizing technology! (And if you hit a pebble or a bump at speed, with just one small ground contact patch?? --Sheeesh!!)
Ever ride a mono-cycle? They're lots of fun, but you can't coast on them at all as they require one's constant input on the pedals just to keep them in balance..

This is where the passenger comes in. Sitting on your back or shoulders, like he'd have to be, drastically improves your visibility.
Imagine the clowns on a unicycle with one on the others shoulders...all rolling around trying to maintain balance...always catches my attention. Should attract a drivers attention too.

LMAO
you know I'm kidding around, right?
haha, just in case the second passenger should be juggling swords at all times

I get made fun of at work for riding a 'scooter', I can only imagine the jokes they'd come up with if I rode that thing! CRIPES! I'd never here the end of it...
Yeah, I guess they're saving 'Fetus' for the later model...
then comes 'Infant'...
sounds like the name was an afterbirth, shoulda been miscarriage if you ask me... Okay, okay, I'll stop. I've seen single-wheeled dirt bikes before tho, but they had to balance on them like a unicycle, not with fancy weights & such....
