Can you get some pics that are more low light level?

I would like to see how well that does glow near dark

Can you give specifics of what you ordered (width, length, etc)? I've been thinking about doing this for a while and your pictures are encouraging me to give it a try.

That looks super spiffy... I was hoping to lay some reflective pinstriping on my bud, probably just silver with a thinner line than yours. just around the edges & such. Your's looks really good!

I ordered one roll of 1/2" black reflective tape, and one roll of 1/2" red reflective tape, from StreetGlo... http://www.streetglo.net/

The trick with this tape is to make sure you throughly wet the surface it's going on first with slightly soapy water, otherwise it will stick much too fast and you'll never get it lined it up correctly.
-On the slick surface however it's very easy to move it around and line it up, and then after it dries it's as firm as a rock! :)

I laid the black tape down first, lined it up, and let it dry. (only takes a few minutes..) Then I cut the red 1/2" tape narrower, sprayed the surface again (with the black tape already on it) and laid the red tape down over the black, leaving only the black edges showing.
-This method gives it the nice black outlined effect... And you could do it equally well with any other color combos you wanted.
(And it also works great on helmets too...) 8)

This stuff is really neat... I once outlined a black Honda Reflex with only the black reflective tape. You could hardly see it during the day, but at night in the lights it shone with an eire soft white glow!

There used to be a company that made rim circles in reflective tape...really helped from the side.

I got rim tape from them... It comes in curved strips that are
cut so you have to put 4 on each wheel. They give you 2 extra
in case you mess up. Sorry I don't have a night time pic (yet),
I'll be sure to post one whenever I do.

Krusty,
looks great!
I just ordered some orange ones this morning for my Blur. I went with the 6.0mm. What width do you have on yours?

EDIT: did you take the wheels off to apply it? How difficult was it?

They are like 1/4 inch, I guess that's the same size? Anyways, they are fairly simple to put on, just be sure to clean it real good. Mine were dry, but someone suggested using a light soapy water solution so that it's easier to make corrections. That would have helped me I think... You don't have to take the wheel off as they are only segments of reflector that you piece together. I like 'em alot, they're pretty bright too! 8)

i found some cool ones on ebay...if you type in reflective decals...it comes up with some flames and stuff. they have some cool silver ones i'm going to pick up for my silver rattler. it'll be kinda "ghosted" during the day, but work well at night i hope.
