Hey y'all. Two announcements, no make that three!
1) I've been a happy scootin gal lately with the heat wave over here in Virgina.

2) There are raffle prizes on my website.
http://www.peacescooter.com/raffles/raf ... tructions/
Why are there raffle prizes on my website? Well,

3) In three weeks, I continue the ride I started last year. After three months on the road, and 9,000 miles later, a complete 20,000 mile Peace sign will be on the U.S. map. I'm not a hippy, but I do believe in Peace and making the world better. The end.
The focus of this journey is personal Peace, Community and Environment.

Because I want to do my part to help people, this ride is a fundraiser. More than half the money taken in goes to those who work hard to improve our nation, who barely pay the bills and who also focus on Peace, Community and our Environment. I'm donating to four organizations. The goal is $1 per 1 mile driven.

That said, go check it out. The prizes up include a Garmin GPS.
New raffles will also run every week when I'm riding, with generous donations from Genuine/Scooterworks!

Please consider entering the raffle-to win great prizes and help fundraise!

Only two weeks left.

Prizes include a scooter seat cover, Corazzo gloves, art, Garmin GPS, Genuine Shop Jacket, patches and other cool stuff.

Even if a lot of people enter, there are many prizes available. Thanks!

Hey, thanks!
In all fairness, the goal is to raise that amount within 3 months.
But we do have to get it started! The riding season is getting started too-that's why there is some nice gear for y'all!

Okay folks, almost two full days have passed without anyone buying a raffle ticket. The odds of winning are GREAT for those who have contributed.
But the odds of meeting the fundraising goal are slim at this rate

Have you checked it out? Have you thought about hitting that button?
You can't go wrong!
Everyone wins here!

You are not just directly supporting P.E.A.C.E and the 20,000 mile ride, you are donating to four worthy non profits who also work hard at improving the world!

Just $10-go take a looksee.

The stakes are definitely high cause there are enough prizes.
The good, old-fashioned suspense of a raffle is that everyone has a chance at both the high tier and low tier prizes.
:D

And you can count on there being more cool items like a Genuine jacket/sweatshirt throughout the 12 weeks I am riding. Scooterworks has agreed to provide P.E.A.C.E Scooter with gear once a week to help meet the fundraising goal. This is a big raffle because it is the kick off. Tickets will be just $5 after this first one. Although that shouldn't keep you from entering this time.
Afterall there are lots of high price items up!!!

Everyone does win...at the very least helping out charitable nonprofits.

Hey- the drawing is May 1, right before I leave on the open road. Gosh-just two weeks from today!

Prolly will see some extras added to it within the next 2 weeks.....

Thanks for the donation my friend and to all the others pitching in!

Pompano Beach, eh? Lucky-I just relocated to Maine. Yes, a 700 mile move is a very smart thing to do before a big trip.....
Anyhow, I'm looking over at a big bank of brown snow...grrr...enjoy the Sunshine state and thanks for your donation. No matter how big or small-they all help! Really, the big picture is to raise $1 per 1 mile-you just took care of 20 miles!

Nice, thanks for your support.
I hope the raffle gods are with you.
I just noticed that on that post your amount of posts reached 6-6-6
Three in a row of a number is generally a good sign in Vegas.....
