I have found a used buddy with 800 miles- buddy 125 cream in color at a dealership for 2,200 out the door with taxes, plates etc.
or should I spend 3,100 out the door on a brand new 08
thanks for the input in advance.

I assume you are looking at the b125 model. Not too bad, but I have seen a few in the $2000 to $2200 range under the forsale section of Modern Buddy in the last few months. Take a look I am sure the ads are still there. Is it an 06 or 07?

This one has a prima pipe out for the same price. Just depends how bad they want to sell it.

I would say that is about what I would expect to pay. It is not a great deal by any means.

they said the price of the buddy 125- 2007 was 1,999 plus local and state taxes, plates and a 100 doc fee.

Well, I guess that makes it sounds better. I wasn't figuring taxes and plates into my calculation by looking at b125's sold by individuals. My 2007 b125 was $2695 or $2870 out the door with tax and tags, which will vary from state to state.

Why does a used scooter purchase require state and local taxes, new plates, and a documentation fee? Perhaps registration in your state is very different but most states require simply a title transfer for a used and already licensed scooter.
