Stupid ATV - Broken foot!! - No Scootin' for 4-6 weeks

Ok.... so I have a 4 week old scooter in my garage -
This weekend I was at our place in Wisconsin kick starting an ATV - the lever froze on the down stroke & my foot bent back - I thought it was just a couple broken toes - no big deal
Got xrays today - two broken bones in my foot - cast for 4-6 weeks & NO SCOOTER RIDING!

This SUCKS

Everyone... please keep up all the posts & the photos in the forums - I now have to live vicariously through all of you for the next month.

why no scooter riding, amputees ride. in fact many motorcycle riders switch to scooters after accidents because their feet aren't needed to shift.

well I have been thinking about it & think I will give it a try if I get switched to a "walking cast" in a couple weeks...
I am a little worried about the current cast throwing off my balance & the fact I cant put a shoe on my left foot & my toes are sticking out -

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, Scoot! And just as it's trying to get warm out without being wicked hot. Hope you figure out a safe way to ride soon.

that sucks.....hook up a fan in your garage and spend a few minutes sittin' on your scoot with your eyes closed.
