I read here that there might be some "issues" with the Buddy top case. As I have not yet purchased one, can some of you tell me of your experiences with them? I'm looking for comments both ways. Perhaps some of the problems, if any, can be overcome. Fire away!
Thanks,
Dennis

The original Buddy top cases were pretty poor quality and seemed rushed to market. The ones currently sold are better, but maybe not the best you could do. Givi certainly makes some of the sturdiest boxes around (in a variety of sizes, with lighting kits available), but they're more expensive and not color-matched.

Good to hear that the quality is some better than before. Color match is the biggy. That's why I want to find out about them. I could buy the Givi but just would prefer the color match.

Well... FWIW, a decent auto paint shop can color match just about anything. Of course, then cost becomes a bigger factor... don't know what it would be to do a top case.

What color Buddy do you have?
Some of the Givi's have the top lid of the top case that can be bought in different colors. But are the basic colors: red, silver, blue, etc
The bottom base is black.
Assume you don't have a black Buddy?
Givi is quality
