Modern Buddy

There was a lot of fun had at Genuine's and/or PGO's expense lately in the Owner's Manual thread. I was one of those who really had a good time. But I also wrote to Genuine (respectfully) and questioned the lack of a decent translation. Here is the response I received this morning.

I appreciate your purchase of a Buddy. A revised manual is in the works. Please have Pensacola Motorsports backorder you a copy and we will send a replacement as soon as it is available.

In the mean time, do you have any specific questions that I can answer about your scooter?

There you go. Wondering about anything in the manual? Give the man a call. I'm saving my owner's manual to compare with the new one. Who know's it might be worth something in the future. Or not.

Alrighty then. I'll ask Brett to send me a revised manual (or get one to my dealer) as well. Should come in handy for the forum.

I dont know if they are planning on selling the manual or sending it out to anyone who requests it... but if they are not charging for it, a PDF version on this site or on their website would be great & save everyone some money.

A PDF is a great idea. In fact, I'd like to have all the owners' manuals as PDFs.

I'll ask Brett about this.
