top speed

Post by sailortot »

it was a great weekend for scooting in my part of the region, so my husband and i took advantage of it and discovered a higher top speed than we had previously reached...

75mph! not downhill, either.

give or take a few with the speedometer calculations everyone has figured might be slightly off.

im sure we arent the only ones who have pushed the buddy to 75mph, but it was exciting nonetheless.

I've only gotten up to an indicated 72mph. I couldn't get past 65 before I installed a windscreen. It's amazing the difference. I don't have any other mod's.

Wow pauldeborr I had no idea the windscreen could make that much difference? I may actually want to get one now. I have never gotten past 65 MPH and there is a one mile stretch on my commute where 70 would benefit me greatly. What size/brand do you have? Does it look like either of these?

Cuppini Windscreen is sold out from scooterworks and only fits a 06 buddy, notice the smaller head light.
