Greatest Dealer or Worst Customer Ever?

Hello Scooterists,
I'm new to the scooter scene but not new to cycling. I've had a Honda, Suzuki and a Harley and never have I been so excited about getting back into the wind. What is it with these scooters?
I'm like a little kid(Not) waiting for christmas. What happened? I used to be a mature guy with responsibilities. I've got a great spouse, 2 teenage boys, a house and a tolerable job that pays for it all. And then along comes POC Scooters in Lakewood OH.
I go to POC just for a visit and as soon as I walk in the door, I lose my mind. My first vision was those Intl Buddies. Almost immediately I lose control and I want one. What ever happened to planning, patience and control? I next thing I know I'm standing in the parking lot, calling my wife to break her the news of our new scooter. Women love it when guys do that! Not.
Thankyou Phil and everyone at POC Scooters. I've changed my mind at least a dozen times and you all have been so patient and kind. I'll try to act a bit more mature next time I visit, but I can't guarantee anything.

I forgot to tell you that changing my mind only as in color. Has anyone else suffered from this scooter affliction? I think I know the cure.

It's rampant on this board. And while many will tell you that being in a support group like this will help the problem, they are lying. It will only make it worse.

You think it's hard to choose what color? Try these on for size:

Which topcase? Genuine, Givi, or Prima Bag
Which wind screen? Short, tall, cuppini?
1/2, 3/4, full helmet?
What cover do I need?
How do I lock this thing up?
Should I make the leg shield lights turn signals or running lights?
And don't even get me started on fuel!!

I need help! I dream of Vin. numbers, pickup dates, tie-down straps and ramps into my Tundra. I've even considered walking around the house in my new helmet.

So you're walking around the house in your helmet? Now, would the helmet be all that you have on while walking around the house? If so, don't venture outdoors for a spin, you'll get yourself in trouble.

Do it. It'll help break it in!

I debated between the 08 St. Tropez and the 07 in pale/sparkle yellow for HOURS. I ended up with the St. Tropez and it is adorable, but I still have dreams of the yellow Buddy. I *almost* even had a moment of regret until I remembered that I loved my new Buddy and someone cool WOULD buy the yellow one soon.

I have always worn my helmet inside the house. My doctor & mommy said it will help me from hurting myself when I bang my head against the wall. :goofy: Yes I know I am going to hell. lol Sorry I couldn't resist.

I was yelled at this morning for wearing my helmet to the breakfast table. Its the closest thing to my buddy I have at the moment. (Jacket comes tomorrow!!)

I think we need an addiction section for modernbuddy "Hi my name is ___ and I'm an addict... We love you!"

I did wear my helmet the other day, but it was late so no one saw me. Probably a good thing. Why worry the family? Wife laughed when I told her about it. She already knows I'm silly.
