If there is, do you have an idea what type of font online that is similiar to the buddy font?

There isn't, strictly speaking, a Buddy font and the logo is completely done with customized letterforms. That said, you could probably find something complimentary — if not the same — depending on what you want to use it for. Or you (or a designer) could just fake it... unless you need a whole alphabet. What are you looking for?

If you want something really similar, circumvent the web designers and go straight to the type geeks at Typophile. They have a Font ID forum, where you post an image or link and many knowledgeable font fetishists identify the font or something darn close to it.
