SYM Mio or Fiddle?

Post by vnice »

So, as part of the thread I started about 4 stroke vs. 2 stroke, someone mentioned the Sym Mio and Fiddle. Both look fantastic, and have a good rep as far as quality.

So...has anyone ridden one or own one? What are your thoughts?

I think there is a place here in Vegas where I can check them out, but I can't get over there until next week.

Thanks.

BTW, I am not trying to say that the Buddy isn't good enough...I am just trying to put together a "short list" to test ride, etc.

I like his reviews...pretty thorough.

I wish there was a definitive scoot review site.

I'd definitely recommend trying out several scooters for the sake of comparison. If you can't test ride them, at least sit on them, put your feet on the ground, on the floorboard, just see how they feel.

As good as the Buddy is, it may not be everyone's perfect match. It just happens to work well for most people.

i wanted my wife to look at the Mio but she seems drawn to the Fiddle and its 27inch seat height (she's 4'11").

the major difference in the two is that the Mio is a 4 stroke and the Fiddle is a 2stroke. both seem very nice.

The new Vogue aka Fiddle II will be hot. A 50 and 125 are on the way. Running a scooter shop I will get my hands on a 125 in about a week or two. I'll let cha know how she runs.

The Mio sits quite low. I haven't seen the Fiddle—is it really much lower?

I asked about the Fiddle/Vogue at Yahoo Sym group but didn't receive an answer.I asked is the Vogue's seat longer than most scoots it's size.It looked like from the pics it is.If the seat is longer, that would be nice for 2-up riding.
Anyone know?
