I have my California Driver's License which is a Class C

When I take my motorcycle permit test do i also need to take a drivers permit test?

I had to take both tests... because the last time I took it was soooo long ago.

same here. I think if it has been more than 5 years you have to take the class C test as well. but you only have to take half of the test.

DMV told me that if you haven't taken the automobile written (class C) test within the past 12 months, you will be required to take a "mini" test.

You will have to do both sides of the motorcycle test and only one side of the car test. A quick scan of the dmv book before the test should help.

My husband and I just got our permits. We had to take half of the Class C test, but no worries, it's easy. We reviewed using the materials on the website the night before and passed both just fine.
