New Buddys in Portland

Post by Dooglas »

I have heard the stories everywhere about '08 Buddys getting scarce. I was in the shop/warehouse of my local Buddy dealer today (Vespa of Portland). I was surprised to see that he had about 2 dozen assembled Buddys including all the new colors except black and all the Internationals except the Italia. He had eight Pamplonas which I thought was especially surprising. He told me that he was so successful with the Buddy last year that he placed large orders with Genuine early in the year. Anyway, if you're on or near the left coast and want a new Buddy real bad, here's one place you can still get one.

I was in last tuesday and noticed there were quite a few on the floor, it's getting kind of packed in there :D
I don't do much modding on the scoot anymore, just riding :-)

When I got mine there back in February it was packed as well. Granted I would have thought they had thinned out by now. Good for them!

Thats good to know. I went this weekend to the Genuine dealer in Eugene and they were all out. They said they won't have any Buddys until sometime in August.
