Dr. Pulley or stock rollers?

Question for anyone with roller experience: are the Dr. Pulley sliding rollers that much better (if at all) over standard round rollers? The roller weights in my Blur are worn and are starting to rattle; several flat spots, all uneven, on all the rollers. In case anyone is wondering, the stock roller size is 18x14mm and 12 grams. The price for Dr. Pulley on Ebay is about $24 a set, while standard round rollers are about $9.

They might or might not help with performance but they will definitely help with longevity imo due to design. They are popular.
Here's a short review:

i don't think it's really an exact science, you just have to give them a try and see if they make much of a differance. i have heard about 50/50 some love em some say no change and some say they don't like them.
that being said i just ordered some for my scoot.

so Dr. Pulley Variator kit is ok to use on the buddy? Gy6, and they make the OEM PGO rollers, if I am reading that article correctly... Or is this just another clone part that I got all excited about then will not buy because it will hurt little red?

Thanks for the information guys. I read that review and it sounds like the variator kit from Dr. Pulley is what I'm looking for because it also gives a slight overdrive.
