I just got my 150 Pamplona about a month ago and its been great.
Early on, I got it up to aboot 72mph (according to the speedometer), however now I can't get it to top 62mph. I've only put aboot 600 miles on it.
Can anyone tell me what the problem may be?
-Thanks

were you going downhill when you 72? did you gain 50lbs? was there a tail wind when you hit 72? was there a head wind when you couldnt get over 62? were you on a smooth asphalt goin 72, and try to get back to 72 on crappy broken concrete? These are all things that keep me from reaching my top speed of 71BMPH on my 125... I can get to low 60's BMPH pretty much anywhere... but anythin over that I need ideal conditions.

There are a lot of possibilities: riding surface, temperature, wind, rider weight and position, blockage or dirt in the air cleaner (filter) and so on.
Have you had a dealer maintenance done?
Are your tires properly inflated? (That's a big possibility...)

Thanks for posting this, I have been meaning to check mine for the last 200 miles but keep forgetting, mine feel a little soft...

flat, smooth road, no wind, around 90 degrees and camping gear sans food; i got to 75 with throttle left but decided it was fast enough.

I keep bumping up against 63BMPH, but haven't tried to eclipse that.
The bike is really responsive all the way through the range with lots of passing power from 35-50 (indicated).

600 miles on it; has the first maintenance been done on it?

The conditions between the different speeds were quite similar. However, It was windier for my lesser speed. Also, the engine hadn't warmed up very long, does that make a big difference?
I'm taking it in for its first check-up today.
