Looking for a Cream Helmet

Hello everyone, new to the board, just bought a Buddy Pamplona 150 (red/cream) and love it! I want to buy my wife a helmet but she wants a "cream" open face helmet.....I found a DAVIDA cream open face with a brown lining, which would work perfectly but it runs around $400. I know that a expensive helmet is better than a long stay in the hospital but I am looking for something a bit cheaper that still meets DOT specs.
Anyone have any good sites that sell multiple colored helmets, hopefully one of which is cream?
thank you in advance.

I'd think you'd first want to find which brand fits her best, then find a cream in that brand. Helmets are shaped so differently; if you have an orange or egg shape head OR on previous post --Bert or Ernie head.

Hmmm, maybe if you can't find what you want at an ok price you could buy one that is plan white and fits nicely and then do a paint job on it? There are tons of threads about people who've painted stuff. Just trying to brainstorm for you.

You left out Frankenstein shaped head. That's me. Yes, it is square

With the increase in scooterists I'm sure there will be a larger demand for the square shape head other than your's, Frank

Oy, paige, why oh why did you have to link up that site! I have a brand spanking new helmet, yet now I feel compelled to buy one of those! Those are some pretty awesome looking helmets! The prices are very reasonable as well! Bah, what to do, what to do...

Perhaps, if you're the daring type such as myself, you'd be interested in trying out the Krylon rattle can paint that's made specifically for plastic. I've seen a few instances where folks on this forum have done amazing things with the plastic panels on the Buddies themselves, I can't imagine, with proper prep-work, that refinishing a helm would be terribly hard.
There's little pistol-grip handles that you can use with spray-paint that yield much greater control. And I'm sure that a layer of Poly-coat on top would give you that factory shine that'll fool your wife just fine. Actually, if she found out you customized it for her yourself (insert tasteless, yet witty pun on creamed helmet finish for wife, loose a little bit of my soul)
I fully plan on refinishing my helm with the method above, as most protective gear is a bit too... Furiously-Lame for my taste; especially the comforable ones
Being creative is fun, heck.... you're riding a scooter, you've already severed the cord to norm, why not embrace the creative (AND THRIFTY!) side.
