Well, develop a tummy ache and get outta there! Surfers here always develop bad stomachs and migraines when the surf is up. I used to do the same when a good steady wind would blow. It was kind of obvious with boards on top and sails and junk stuffed in the back seat of my old buick.

But it worked.

Read the Great Scootering Day thread.

There may be another in store. I just looked out the window down to the parking lot and see that my lovely wife rode the Buddy in today after saying she was going to drive. I'll be she has something in miiiiind!

You look pale. You should leave now for the benefit of others in the office. You might be contagious. It should pass by Monday.
Now, GO!

I *wish* I had the option to ride...

Don't mind my sad pitiful Buddy-less self.

I agree with Dennis. Call in sick. Call in well. Go to lunch and not come back. Get the hades out of there!

just walk out the door.... if your place of work is anything like mine... you're bosses are gone after lunch for "meetings" :?

I'm personally exercising a great amount of self control

I want to be riding as well. I rode to work. I rode to lunch. I rode back from lunch. Now I want to ride back home to complete the circle. And then ride some more. And some more.

It's an addiction! :D

Nice thing is, I have a job site visit I need to make later to take pictures, and its just a few blocks from home. So I can leave work early and head home from there!

Agreed. I'm pretty sure you might be running a slight fever. Trust me, the last thing you want to do is give whatever you have to that guy who always does that thing. Bad news all around.

Julius, that would bring me to tears too! Since I got my Stella, I've ridden it at least a little nearly every day. Minus 2 days of rain we had and that was near hell for me.

Not me. I'm staying indoors for now. It is a nice cool 106F. With my black non-mesh jacket and full face black helmet, I'd have heat stroke within minutes.

I may risk it some and stuff the jacket under the seat on the way home.

I wish I could've left, I am actually short some hours this week. Might have to brave the weather this weekend in order to get some more time in (on the Buddy and at work)

According to my town's weather station: http://www.tempe.gov/wx/, at 3:45pm it is 110.5 degrees F. And it will probably be a little warmer when it's time to go. But it's a dry heat! (Look at it - 3% humidity - that's DRY!)

Gee, I left work and didn't check the weather channel. Its summer, its hot. Why try to see how hot?? Then you'll just think about it more. Turn off the tv, block the weather pages and forget about it.
It was hot today. How hot? I dunno. It will get cold some time in December or January.
