My personal favorite happened a few Christmases ago. My wife was singing along to "Little Drummer Boy" while doing dishes.
The part that goes "I am a poor boy, too" ...
She was belting out "I am a poor, white Jew."
I never laughed so hard in my life.

when my little sister was even more little (around age 4) she was jumping on the bed singing along to Mariah Carey's "Fantasy"...when the line came that says "I'm so into you, darlin' if you only knew", what did I hear from the 4 year old?
"I'M SO ITSY BOO!"
yup.
about 14 years later, we still sing it that way.

Dating myself, too...the 5th Dimension; "Age of Aquarius". My little sister used to sing along with the radio...her version? "The Angel's Aquarium".
