Not only does this cat know Motorcycles, he also gave me some insight about why my dog goes apeshit over the mailman. Same principle about why some dogs ALWAYS chase MC's even though they never catch them.
Basically this: What happens when a dog chases a motorcycle in its territory? IT GOES AWAY! So the dog thinks he's doing his job.
What happens when my dog barks and growls at the mailman? After he drops the mail in the chute (and my dog tears it up) HE GOES AWAY! My dog thinks he's protecting the house..... succesfully!!!
With mailmen- I've always thought that it is the one person who comes to the house but never is invited in tht causes the dog to hate him.
I used to have a mail slot in the door, and the dogs would take the mail and tear it apart when it came in. We invited our last mailman inside to say hi to the dogs, and they were a bit nicer and calmer to him after that, and tended not to eat any more mail unless it was food-scented.
I was told by my wife that I have too much money and not enough hobbies.... or something like that.
