I rode between the patches and watched the water fly out to either side. It's not just a ride; it's an adventure. That one road was the only one that was like that. The two one-lane bridges in a row were really scary! Other than that, it was a wonderful day to ride.

Great pics but what's that white stuff on the ground? And why would there be ice on a bridge, do they serve drinks there or something? :mrgreen:

Dave, that there white stuff is known as snow, and the ice was on the ground before the snow fell. This is the result of an atmospheric reaction called weather when a really cold mass of air (below 32° F) comes through with warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico overrunning it. We had thunderstorms dumping sleet on us until it got cold enough for them to turn into thundersnows.

Some people never get to enjoy the thrill of real weather. If it's sunny and warm all the time, how do you know if you've had a nice day?
