patches, stinking patches
So, I got a cool new scooter cover from Scooterworks for Christmas and they sent along a Genuine patch, which I figured that I would put on my leather jacket because I'm a geek. The problem is I don't know the best way to attach a patch to a leather. Any suggestions?

There are a couple of ways...I've been using both for years. The best, by far, is to have someone who knows how sew it on. Check with your local Harley dealer or better yet, your local Harley shop that ISN'T a dealer. They will know who does the best job. Don't be shy. They probably won't shoot you. In fact, I went into our local non-dealer Harley fix-it shop today on my Buddy to find out where to take my wife's leather jacket for a new zipper. No problem. People are generally very proud to show off what they know...
The other way (which I use more often because it's quick and cheap) is a quality fabric glue. I have affixed all my patches to my jean jacket that way using a glue I picked up at Wally World...I can't remember the name...something like "F6900" or something silly like that. Works well.
